Hand-painted Wagasa: Red and White Plum Blossoms

This hand-painted Wagasa features red and white plum blossoms blooming amidst the snow, a theme inspired by traditional Japanese painting. The restrained brushwork and quiet composition capture the serene essence of winter, deeply rooted in Japanese aesthetics. Crafted from handmade washi paper, the parasol captures light softly, allowing the plum blossoms to emerge quietly when illuminated.
